Senior Video Animation Designer

Unit Description

Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Video Animation Designer to join our Deployment & Support Center of Excellence team! This role is responsible for the department’s video-based training and knowledge transfer content creation.

This position will have primary responsibility for digital content creation that trains and informs on food and food transformation programs.

This is a remote position, but preference would be for individuals to reside in the Mid-Atlantic region. Travel required 25%.

Key responsibilities include :

• Conceptualize and produce videos (film on-site, footage segments and complete post-production; music, dialogues / voiceover, graphics, and effects) for training, knowledge transfer and for materials to be presented in promotional campaigns, branded services, visual communications and electronic media.
• Produce video / visual-based learning content in Company’s Learning Management System authoring tool(s) as part of a design / development team and supported by learning specialists.
• Complies with all branding and identity standards and reviews quality of final product before release.
• Advanced design (not just layout) theory and capabilities including cross platform applications as well as the programs required.
• Works directly with design clients to understand needs and project manage timelines, budget and business objectives.
• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.

Key Qualifications include :

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with digital video technology and editing software packages for production and post-production.
• Skilled at conceptualization, starting from a concept brief or ideation session.
• Strong storytelling capability to move from concept to production framework and sequence.
• Skilled videographer in a variety of live shooting environments (particularly on-location)
• Capable post-production editor (Adobe Creative Cloud software suite), graphics & effects creator.
• Familiar with app-based video animation creation to support storytelling.
• Familiar with formats for online streaming, social media, promotional loops, etc.
• Ability to manage multiple projects & competing timelines.
• Maintains engagement and alignment with key stakeholders to evolve initial brief to an on-target finished product.
• Excellent communication (written, verbal) skills suited to managing projects.
• Effectively balances structure (corporate branding, learning content effectiveness, with memorable, attention-getting creativity.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years commercial experience in video production / post production
• Relevant experience in instructional content creation
