Lead AWS Data Engineer
This is the Full-Time / Contract W2 opportunity with Amazee Global Ventures Inc. We welcome all qualified applicants. Role- AWS Data Engineer Location- Charlotte, NC Experience Level : 15+ years Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled individual with robust hands-on experience across various domains : Comprehensive proficiency in Python and PySpark programming languages is essential, as is a deep understanding and practical application of AWS native services.
Strong familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL and Aurora is necessary for this role. Expertise in data engineering tools, including but not limited to EMR, Redshift, and Glue,is highly valued.
Experience with serverless technologies, particularly Lambda and Step Functions,is crucial. Exceptional SQL and PL / SQL skills are required to effectively navigate and manipulate databases.
Proficiency in designing Star and Snowflake schemas is key to structuring data efficiently. Experience in developing and maintaining Datamarts and Data Warehouses is a significant aspect of this role.
Familiarity with Multi-Dimensional OLAP concepts is highly beneficial. Nice to Have : In addition to the core requirements, familiarity with SAS and DevOps practices, including Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gitlab, and Terraform,would be advantageous.
Experience in testing automation would also be a valuable asset, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our processes.
