CB Mining is an independent family-owned corporation that is growing. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Washington, PA, CB Mining focuses on product support for Longwall mines.
Established from part of the Caterpillar mining group, CB Mining has grown from 2 locations in Washington, PA to now 4 locations, with additions in Marion, IL and Tuscaloosa, AL, We provide customers with rebuild services, CST gearbox rebuilds, welding and fabrications services, service exchange units, custom made cabling solutions, life cycle services including oil sampling and vibration analysis, robust inventory support, compatibility services and underground technical support.
We also provide extensive machining, chroming, laser cladding, and hydraulic repairs through our valued partner Cleveland Brothers.

Job Description : As an Intermediate-Level Buyer, you will take on a more independent role, managing supplier relationships, conducting market research, and implementing procurement strategies.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to process improvements. This position requires a deeper understanding of procurement processes and a proactive approach to optimizing cost efficiency.
Preferred Skills :
- Proven experience in procurement or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of market trends and supplier dynamics.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Industrial purchasing experience a plus
- Ability to manage major vendor accounts
Education / Experience :
- High School diploma required.
- College Degree in related discipline, or four to five years' experience in related field in lieu of degree.
