We are seeking a high-energy Training Specialist to join our team in Dallas. In this role, you will deliver engaging training programs that accelerate mortgage sales professionals' readiness, sharpen their sales skills, and strengthen compliance. Using our Tell–Show–Do–Practice–Review model, you'll coach professionals through real-world mortgage scenarios, helping them gain confidence using Tinman technology and drive business results.

This is more than a "stand-and-train" job — you'll be a mentor, culture-bearer, and performance multiplier.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate live and virtual training sessions for new and experienced sales professionals
  • Teach mortgage fundamentals, Tinman workflows, compliance basics, and borrower engagement skills
  • Sales coach production roles (objection handling, disclosures, rate conversations, etc.)
  • Track trainee performance with KPIs such as speed-to-competency, talk-to-app ratios, and borrower satisfaction
  • Collaborate with peers to innovate training activities, roleplays, and assessments
  • Embody and enforce team IMPACT (Integrity, Mastery, Presence, Accountability, Clarity, and Tenacity)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years mortgage experience
  • Strong public speaking and facilitation skills (in-person and virtual)
  • Confidence managing groups and energizing audiences
  • Basic understanding of mortgage lifecycle or proven ability to learn complex technical systems quickly
  • Hands-on experience with Tinman or other LOS platforms (Encompass, Blend, Optimal Blue, Melo, Salesforce, LOLA, Ignite) is preferred
  • Mortgage industry experience (LC, LOA, processor, or operations) preferred
  • Corporate training, coaching, or instructional design background preferred
  • Sales training or customer-facing leadership experience preferred
  • Certifications (ATD CPLP, SAFE Act, coaching credentials) preferred
  • Salary $65,000 - $80,000 a year
