We are currently seeking askilled IMS DB Developer to join our team for a direct clientproject with Morgan Stanley. The ideal candidate will haveextensive experience in IMS DB and be able to provide DBA supportto application developers.
This position requires onsite presencein Columbus OH from day one.
Responsibilities :
- Install implementtest and tune IMS DB and DC system.
- ProvideDBA support to application developers utilizing IMS DB.
- Maintain and tune backuprecovery processes for IMSDisaster Recovery (DR).
- Administer IMS systemusing consoles JCL DL / I and backup procedures. MandatorySkills :

Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in computerscience Information Technology or related fieldpreferred.
- Minimum 78 years of experienceworking with IMS DB.
- Strong understanding ofIMS database architecture and design principles.
- Proficiency in IMS DB installation implementation testingand tuning.
- Experience providing DBA supportto application developers.
- Knowledge ofbackuprecovery processes for IMS DR.
- Abilityto administer IMS system using consoles JCL and DL / I.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshootingskills.
- Effective communication andcollaboration abilities.
- Must be a localcandidate available to work onsite in Columbus OH.
