Prebill Specialist

A company is looking for a PreBill Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

Verify prebill information, including patient demographics and payor details, before coding

Utilize system tools to locate insurance and demographic information, and place claims in the Insurance Discovery workflow when necessary

Participate in Prebill Huddles and achieve daily production and quality goals

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma required

1+ years of Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred

Working knowledge of health insurance verification and major payor groups preferred

Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of state regulations and payor guidelines

Motivated self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively
