Administrative Assistant - Operations
Temp to Hire
Hours : Monday - Thursday (7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM), Friday (6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM) with 30 min lunch
Pay : $24.00 per hour
Summary :
Heat Exchanger Group-Houston is looking for a proactive and organized Administrative / Operations Assistant to support day-to-day administrative and inventory functions. This role will work closely with multiple departments to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle a variety of tasks in a well-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Provide general administrative support for various departments and assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
- Maintain and update various tracking spreadsheets (inventory, schedules, job files, facility maps, extrusion logs, etc.).
- Prepare and submit documents to internal departments.
- Assist in receiving incoming deliveries.
- Monitor and report inventory levels of consumables and other materials
Requirements :
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities.Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).Good communication skills.Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.Previous administrative or operations experience preferred.Basic understanding of inventory management or supply chain processes is a plus.
