Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services within a K-12 school setting in Huntersville, NC. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 academic year and involves serving 2-3 different school locations, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct speech and language assessments, evaluations, and screenings for students K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Deliver therapy services addressing pediatric speech, language, articulation, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of sessions and progress reports.
- Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to supplement in-person services.
Qualifications and Experience :
Valid North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within educational or healthcare environments.Familiarity with school-based therapy practices, including caseload management.Ability to work itinerantly across multiple school sites.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.Benefits Include :
