Tax Manager - Real Estate

Our Real Estate Solutions Team provides accounting, tax, and consulting services to commercial and residential real estate developers; particularly those who utilize low-income housing, historic rehabilitation, or renewable energy tax credits to finance their projects.

As a Tax Manager with the Mahoney Real Estate Solutions Team, you will assume a pivotal role in providing a variety of tax and accounting functions for clients, including :

• Application of tax rules and technical audit skills to review and sign partnership tax returns, financial statements, and cost certifications
• Proficiently identify, address, and resolve intricate tax or audit challenges, while researching complex issues and providing well-informed solutions
• Utilize strong interpersonal skills to deliver expert real estate consulting services and innovative solutions for projects
• Foster long-lasting client relationships across the entire project lifecycle, from pre-development through successful exit strategies
• Consistently provide effective communication across organization levels internally and with various clients
• Lead, manage, and develop staff while sustaining a dynamic team environment
• Utilization of Excel and Word for the following tasks :

Analyze large amounts of data, create financial reports, and generate reports

We offer a competitive base pay range of $90,000 to $115,000 per year. During busy season, most accountants work 55-hour weeks.
