IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE :
- Verifies the accuracy of outgoing shipments and orders
- Computes duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of product that is exported to foreign counties
- Processes US and International paperwork for transaction completeness and accuracy
- Ensures that safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities
- Receives and reads customer orders to identify the item(s) to be pulled
- Fills customers’ orders following specifications on the order form
- Package orders using appropriate shipping containers and packaging
- Operates standard or automatic machines, such as electronic scales and tape machines
- Can work split shifts, when required
- Accurately prepares orders for shipment to include secure packaging and wrapping
- Responsible for accurate shipments (product and documentation)
- Responsible accurate reporting and on-time shipments of customer products as required
- Completes other assignments as assigned by management or designate

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Minimum of two years warehouse inventory experience
- Forklift operation
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
- Must be a self-starter and able to perform without direct supervision
- Ability to lift 40 pounds intermittently
- Ability to sit and / or stand daily for up to 10 hours
- Ability to defer to management when appropriate
