Schedule : M-F, Business Hours / Flexible Schedule

PrideStaff Financial is searching for a Staff Accountant to join a steadily growing organization in the Sacramento area! This role would focus on general ledger, financial reporting, and AR / AP accounting functions.
It is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement!
Responsibilities :
- Process business activity through the general ledger to the financial statements on cash and accrual basis.
- Prepare bank reconciliations for all cash accounts, create journal entries, and maintain prepaid accrual schedules.
- Produce timely and accurate monthly financial reports
- Review and approve all accounts payable, payment disbursements
- Reconcile general ledger accounts with supporting schedules monthly.
- Timely preparation of monthly standard reporting packages and response to managers’ and clients’ inquiries.
- Assist with annual budgets, prepare audit packages, and provide lender reports as required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance preferred but not required.
- Experience in general ledger
- Strong work ethic
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
