Project Accountant

Description

Position Overview :  The Project Accountant plays a key role in managing all billing activities—both incoming and outgoing—related to specific projects. This role also supports various job cost functions and reporting needs within the accounting department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in construction project accounting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process and code invoices for project-related expenses
• Manage subcontractor billing and ensure timely processing
• Maintain subcontract documentation, including lien releases
• Prepare and submit draw requests, including all required supporting documentation (e.g., schedules, invoice copies)
• Assist in internal and external job audits
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned
