Job Title : Experienced Welder

Shift : Flexible (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as needed), Overtime required

Location : Columbiana

Salary : Starting at $17.00 per hour (Wage range increases based on weld test performance)

Job Description :

We are seeking skilled and experienced Welders to join our Fabrication Facility / Job Shop. If you're a talented and proficient welder who can work across shifts and is willing to put in overtime when necessary, this opportunity is for you.

As a Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on heavy fabrication projects, using your expertise to interpret blueprints, weld in various positions, and contribute to the success of our team.

Responsibilities :

• Perform welding tasks using 1 / 16 and 3 / 32 diameter wire in all positions.
• Interpret blueprints, understanding and following specifications to ensure accurate welding.
• Pass a 3G Welding Test to demonstrate your welding skills and techniques.
• Utilize your welding experience to meet industry standards for welding and fabrication, including weld symbols.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude by using a variety of hand tools and shop equipment.*
• Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to ensure project success.
• Possess the ability to work flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) based on production needs.
• Be willing to work overtime when required to meet project deadlines.
• Utilize your own hand tools and tool box for the job.
• Contribute positively to a safe and clean work environment.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Successful completion of a 3G Welding Test.
• Proficiency in reading, understanding, and interpreting blueprints.
• At least 2 years of preferred experience in heavy fabrication welding.
• Demonstrated ability to weld in all positions using 1 / 16 and 3 / 32 diameter wire.
• Mechanical aptitude using a variety of hand tools and shop equipment.
• Possession of your own hand tools and tool box.
• Knowledge of industry standards for welding and fabrication, including weld symbols.
