General Manager – Property Management

Our client is a commercial real estate firm and they are seeking a General Manager Property Management for mixed-use properties.

Salary / Hourly Rate :

$120k $150k plus Bonus

Position Overview :

The General Manager Property Management is needed to provide leadership, direction, and support to a property operations team to facilitate the effective management of a large urban mixed-use development and deliver superior customer service.

This role will work collaboratively to develop the long-term strategy, annual business plans, and operating budget.

Responsibilities of the General Manager Property Management :

Conduct meetings and orientations
Review and provide feedback on retail and office annual survey
Recruit and select talent for any open positions
Conduct semi-annual performance reviews for all direct reports
Implement and maintain associate retention initiatives
Leverage vendor partnerships Monitor pricing in YieldStar daily
Create annual budget and staffing plans including business plan, and capital improvement plan
Update the 5-year Capital Improvement Plan
Monitor occupancy, leasing percent, pricing, renewals, other income and expenses
Review and approve monthly financial statement variances
Review bids from the Service Manager for vendors and negotiate pricing
Process building insurance claims
Approve all invoices and contracts

Qualifications for the General Manager Property Management :

Senior-level property management experience is essential
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills necessary
Experience with Yardi, MRI, YieldStar, and LevelOne is preferred
Ability to interpret, evaluate, and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 15 pounds

Education Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree is preferred
