Job Title : Business Continuity Third Party Risk Management Lead
Job Summary
Heitmeyer Consulting is currently seeking a Business Continuity Third Party Risk Management Lead for a remote, contract opportunity for one of our financial services clients.
The Lead reviews vendor master services agreements, assesses vendors business continuity capabilities, and identifies vendor resilience risks.
Collaborates with business owners to develop vendor action plans that reduce vendor resilience risks. This individual will be responsible of managing a repository of vendor business continuity assessments, audit responses, recovery strategies and activity logs.
Job Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with enterprise third party risk management team on approach, process, and objectives for evaluating and managing risks associated with vendors and third party technology service providers.
- Identify, measure, and report on vendor business continuity risks.
- Support development and delivery of monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and measures related to vendor business continuity risks.
- Conduct third party risk management business continuity vendor reviews.
- Periodically review vendor contract terms and conditions.
- Maintain business continuity recovery strategy template and guidance for business units for loss of key vendors. Collaborate with business and IT teams to develop loss of key vendor recovery strategies for critical business functions, applications, and infrastructure to achieve resilience in accordance with FFIEC guidelines.
- Perform holistic vendor business continuity risk assessments on offshore key vendors.
- Respond to audit requests from internal audit, OCC, Federal Reserve, and others as appropriate. Support maintenance of documents related to enterprise resilience. Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience (5+ years in Third Party Risk Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or Resilience Programs).
- Knowledge of vendor risk management processes including business continuity best practices.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions, such as tight time deadlines and business-related crises.
