Project Engineering Lead
Allied Resources is looking for a Project Engineering Lead for an exciting Full-time opportunity with a specialty chemical company in the greater Richmond VA area.

A Day in the Life :
- Manage Business Strategic Planning, Annual Operating Plan, and New Product Development platforms, developing appropriate capital plans / budgets in collaboration with site leadership teams.
- Oversee execution of site capital investments by assigning project management and construction resources, prioritizing with site, business, and functional group leaders.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including business, technology, capital, operations, and HS&E members, ensuring maximum resource utilization and interface with key site and company personnel.
- Ensure completion of all FEL deliverables before gate and funding approval, monitoring and controlling project portfolio to meet stated objectives and commitments.
- Accountable for monthly forecasting, management, and reporting of projects, collaborating with other Capital Team Leaders for resource forecasting and partnering with Discipline Engineering manager for project portfolio maintenance.
The Wish List :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, business, or a technical discipline; chemical engineering preferred; Master’s degree / MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing in industries such as, chemical, pulp & paper, petro-chemical, or pharmaceutical, in direct support of chemical manufacturing facilities.
- Minimum 5-years of capital project execution or project management experience
