Executive Director
A passionate non-profit focused on providing affordable homeownership opportunities for low-income families in Loudoun County, is seeking an Executive Director (ED) / Chief Operating Executive (COE).
This leadership role is pivotal in guiding the organization's growth, strategic direction, and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the ED / COE will spearhead efforts to achieve the organization's mission, goals, and financial objectives through effective management of programs, fundraising, operations, and staff.
Responsibilities :
- Board Relations : Work closely with the Board to shape and implement the strategic vision, participate in Board member selection and training, and provide monthly reports.
- Fundraising : Lead grant writing, donor campaigns, and sponsorship initiatives, and oversee the organization's fundraising strategies in collaboration with the Board and staff.
- Program Management : Oversee all organizational programs, ensuring compliance with laws and best practices, and foster innovative solutions to serve the community's needs.
- Operations Management : Act as the key internal leader and public representative of the organization, manage daily operations, staff, and programs, and enhance organizational communication and accountability.
- Financial Management : Collaborate with financial officers to develop the annual budget, monitor financial compliance, and manage funding sources to support organizational activities.
- Advocacy and Public Relations : Represent the organization externally, develop government relations, and work with other nonprofits to expand the support for affordable housing.
