Join us in Janesville, WI 53546 as our People Operations Generalist. You’ll serve as the trusted HR partner to employees and leaders, helping shape a positive workplace, ensuring compliance, and driving seamless people processes from hire to exit.
A Typical Week in This Role
- Own full-cycle recruiting : draft job postings, source and screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.
- Lead onboarding to create a welcoming, organized start for every new hire.
- Administer benefits and respond to employee questions with accuracy and care.
- Maintain precise employee records and uphold compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Support performance programs, including review cycles, feedback facilitation, and documentation.
- Contribute to the creation and rollout of HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development sessions.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee relations, offering guidance and resolving issues.
- Conduct exit interviews and synthesize insights to recommend improvements.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.2+ years of HR experience, ideally in a generalist capacity.Solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws / regulatory requirements.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Exceptional organization and attention to detail.A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.Proficiencies That Set You Up for Success
