Robert Half has partnered with a client within the Real Estate industry on their search for a Staff Accountant. This candidate must be highly skilled in accounts receivable and be able to provide general accounting support. The responsibilities for this Staff Accountant role consist of handling general accounting operations such as : assisting with accounts receivable / collections activities, processing vendor invoices, preparing monthly statements and billbacks, reviewing tax fees, assisting with account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, assisting with payroll entries, and participating in the development and tracking of budgets. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, highly organized, excellent time-management and strong budgeting / forecasting abilities that will ensure revenue generation. Everyday responsibilities include : support daily accounting functions, post customer payments into QuickBooks, cash management, prepare customer invoices, maintain and review business licensing as needed, accounts receivable / collections, general ledger account reconciliation, draft correspondence, and ad hoc special projects as requested.

Requirements : The ideal Staff Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. Other requirements for the AR Specialist / Staff Accountant role include and are not limited to : 3+ years of AR / Collections experience, cash management / fraud protection within banking, hospitality or property management background preferred, QuickBooks, Sage CRE, M3 highly preferred, advanced MS Excel skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
