The Veterinary Digital Education Specialist focuses on the development of education content on multiple platforms, including in-clinic seminars, webinars, and other digital learning tools.
This content promotes Hill's nutritional philosophies and elevates Hill's scientific leadership internally and externally.
Education that is delivered will earn the veterinary recommendation by positioning Hill's as a valuable partner that provides scientific evidence-based advancements in the field of nutrition and demonstrates commitment to transforming the lives of people and their pets.
This role also serves to build relationships with key thought leaders (KTLs), developing advocates for Hill's.
What you will do :
Develops Educational Content and Digital Assets
In accordance with US education strategy, develops customer-facing educational materials that clearly communicate key messages for vet channel business and wellness / therapeutic pet foods.
In collaboration with stakeholders, aligns messaging across various platforms, materials and target audiences.
- Recommends prioritization of activities to align timing of content / asset development with the broader commercial / education grids.
- Partners with internal experts for inclusion of accurate technical material and messaging.
- Partners with KTLs to develop educational materials for hillsvet.com and various collaborative education platforms
- Serve as Hill’s representative for KTL
- Organize and handle logistics of creation of these assets
- Keeps assets up-to-date and in accordance with contract and continuing education (CE) timing constraints in the education center on hillsvet.com
- Collaborates cross-functionally to bring professional, customer-facing materials to the education center on hillsvet.com and various collaborative education platforms
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure educational support for company focuses
- Develops strategy for and executes yearly webinar planning
Manages Utilization Platforms to Educate and Engage Industry Professionals
- Manages day to day workings of the hillsvet.com learning center
- Assists with development of strategy to expand reach and impact
- Analyzes usage data to provide strategy insights
- Manages / curates social, digital, and webinar platforms (and / or vendor relationships for these platforms) used to engage store associates / students / vet healthcare team members.
- Works with external vendors to coordinate successful execution of online CE events
- Partners with peers to coordinate executional activities and fully leverage tools / assets.
- Responsible for CE Broker account management to maintain RACE compliance
Required Qualifications :
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree
- 2+ years of veterinary practice experience following completion of DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree
- Licensed Medical Veterinarian in the United States
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote and Google’s G Suite
Preferred Qualifications :
- Master's Degree of Education or Nutrition-related field
- 1+ year experience in the pet food industry and / or working in pet retail
