We are seeking a Full Stack Developer, IT who is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintaining MedOne’s custom developed OneConnect Application and other Applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

This position is based in Columbus, OH and is an in-office position with some flexibility to work remotely

RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

Frontend Development :

Develop user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React

Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of web applications.

Implement frontend testing strategies to ensure high-quality code and user experiences.

Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and best practices.

Backend Development :

Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using .NET Core / Framework. Experience with C# programming language.

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between frontend and backend systems.

Implement data storage solutions using databases such as Microsoft Azure SQL Server. Experience with Microsoft Blob Storage and other Cloud Based Storage Architecture.

Ensure the security and integrity of backend systems by implementing proper authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Optimize backend processes for maximum efficiency and scalability.

Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.

Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Development environment including DevOps, App Services, Functions, storage accounts and Front Door routing.

General Responsibilities :

Work closely with MedOne Team and 3rd Party Application Developers.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions accordingly.

Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and testing environments.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in frontend and backend technologies.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : A bachelor’s degree in software development, software engineering, or a related field is preferred. However, industry experience and relevant certifications may be considered in place of a degree.

Experience : A minimum of 7 years of proven experience with Frontend & Backend application development, is required.

Technical expertise :

The Full Stack Developer should have experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud architectures and services. Should also have experience or familiarity with the overall Microsoft technology stack.

Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.

Database Administration & Optimization (Would be a Plus)

Strong understanding of backend development concepts, including server-side programming, databases, and APIs.

Experience with version control system

Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)

Experience with SQL Database Administration & Maintenance.

Experience with Healthcare Applications and Interfaces / Integrations with HL7, EHR’s is a plus.

Experience with Business Intelligence Tools such as PowerBI is a plus.

RPA, ML, GenAI knowledge is a plus.

Analytical and problem-solving skills : The Full Stack Developer must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and solve complex issues efficiently and effectively.

Knowledge of industry regulations : The Full Stack Developer should have a thorough understanding of industry regulations, such as HIPAA and HITECH, and ensure that all systems are designed and implemented in compliance with these regulations.

Collaborating with stakeholders : The Full Stack Developer should be able to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.

They must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals.

Providing technical leadership : The Full Stack Developer should provide technical guidance to the technology team, leveraging their expertise in the technology landscape, industry trends, and emerging technologies to ensure that the organization is utilizing the most efficient and effective solutions.

Adaptability : The Full Stack Developer should be able to adapt to new technologies, software, and regulatory changes that arise as healthcare IT systems continue to evolve.

Project management skills : The Full Stack Developer should possess experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and tracking progress to ensure timely project delivery.

Technology budgets : The Full Stack Developer should collaborate with the Director of Clinical Applications, Informatics and Chief Information Officer and other Leadership to provide input on technology budgets for projects and initiatives.

Ensuring system security and stability : The Full Stack Developer is responsible for ensuring that the organization's technology systems are secure and stable.

They should work closely with the Chief Information Officer and IT Team to ensure that systems are protected from potential threats.
