Scopely is looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance team in United States on a remote basis!

What You Will Do

As a Financial Analyst at Scopely, you will play an essential role in driving the company's strategic growth objectives.

You will collaborate with the game leadership team to provide in-depth financial analysis to support senior management's decision-making process.

You will be responsible for managing key inputs for Scopely's financial operating model, leading forecasting and budgeting efforts while providing critical insights on the company's performance and identifying areas for optimization.

At Scopely, we move fast and things change constantly. Some of the responsibilities of this role will be well-defined while many others will be ad hoc and on the fly.

As such, the successful candidate will have the ability to effectively prioritize and problem solve with minimal oversight.

In this position you will be an integral member of the team and will be expected to actively engage with the Executive Team, providing deep insights and analytical expertise to help drive the business forward.

  • Accurately model and forecast the business as well as to lead the strategic analysis that is used to inform important business decisions
  • Support senior management in Scopely's financial operating model, forecasting, and budgeting efforts
  • Analyze near-term and long-term P&L forecasts as well as key portions of the company's free cash flow forecast
  • Develop insightful presentations that summarize this data and facilitate decision-making for senior Scopely management
  • Serve as the primary point person to support senior management in all budgeting and forecasting-related areas
  • Perform financial scenario analysis to support senior management's strategic decision making
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue and cost reduction effort

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
  • Exceptional proficiency with Excel and complex financial modeling
  • A successful track record of superior financial and strategic analysis with delivered recommendations
  • Display initiative in anticipating and exceeding senior-manager business demands
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and exhibit the highest personal and professional integrity and ethics
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision performing a wide range of strategic tasks

Bonus Points

Experience in implementing new financial planning systems

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $69,000 - $91,000, plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience .
