This role will determine technological needs and suggest solutions that meet them. This role will operate cloud infrastructure services and aid cloud deployments and collaborate with development teams and other personnel to establish requirements for new or modified infrastructure services.

Cloud Administrators help debug cloud stacks. This role will collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and deploy optimal solutions.

Essential Job Functions : Repair and recover from hardware, software, and process failuresProvide backup and recovery support and guidance for cloud resourcesAssist in planning and coordinating technical deliverablesExecute unit tests and unit test plansProduce data-based reports on technology risk for senior managementDevelop infrastructure documentation and technology mappings in compliance with SOPsMonitor progress by maintaining dialogue on work and resultsInstalling, configuring, and monitoring tools to support operationsWork closely with Cloud Engineers to execute automated CI / CD pipelinesPerform audit checks for security, process, and resource complianceContinuously improve patterns, practices, and operational efficiency within the teamContribute to training and customer support activities as neededCommunicate fluently with business stakeholders, product managers, researchers, and developersProvide recommendations and technology-based solutions to business requirementsProvide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support to Service Desk and other staffTroubleshoots problems, answer hardware and software questions and provide general technical assistance to the firmAssist in the documentation of server systems, operational procedures, topology, and hardware / software inventoryMaintain a good working knowledge of all firm infrastructure and applications servicesMaintain asset recordsDocument problem resolutions into the appropriate systemsTroubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system and user problemsPlan, organize, and coordinate work assignments and prioritize workloadProvide backup coverage for other Cloud Administrators when neededRapidly deploy fixes to systems in response to newly identified stability and security threatsKnowledge and understanding of ITIL and SREOther activities as may be assigned by your managerQualifications / Requirements : Associate degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperienced professional with 5+ years of industry and / or relevant experience, typically at a Senior Analyst or Analyst level role or external equivalent.

Fluent in Python, Powershell, and a variety of programming languages, software, and systems.Strong computing and scripting skillsComfortable with Agile practicesAble to work in an environment using cloud systemsFamiliar with SaaS processes and productsExperience leading projectsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills and professional appearanceKnowledge of daily Windows server administration, including system stability, integrity, and troubleshootingProficiency in backup integrity and recovery coordination along with disaster preparedness planningSelf-motivated, with the ability to work in both a team environment and individuallyKnowledge of the relevant computer systems, applications, and equipment to provide customer support of technical terminology, concepts, and applicationsAbility to understand and comply with the relevant department and / or corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines as they pertain to customer supportKnowledge of relevant commonly-used concepts, best practices, and proceduresKnowledge of local and remote computer system diagnostic toolsStrong communication (oral, technical, and written) skillsStrong analytical ability, good judgment, strategic and multidimensional thinkerProblem solves using interpersonal relations and diplomacy skillsDetail oriented and organizedStrong commitment and dedication to the position and a team playerSpecial Requirements : The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employmentAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsTravel up to 25%Working Conditions : Office environment with frequent computer, mouse, keyboard useAlternating between sitting or standing as neededHearing, talking, reaching, grasping#LI-AS1 #LI-REMOTENote : This job description is not intended to be all inclusive or exclusive.

Job Location : Remote, RE, USACountry : USAThe annual full time base salary range for this role is ($90,000 - $140,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data.

Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval.
