Compensation : $150,000–$180,000 base + bonuses + equity
Total Potential : $220,000–$240,000
Overview
A growing mental health care organization is seeking a strategic and mission-driven COO to lead the expansion from a single clinic to a multi-location model. This role is ideal for a visionary operator with experience scaling healthcare services, building high-performing teams, and ensuring quality, compliance, and operational excellence. You will partner with founders to create scalable systems, drive growth, and maintain a patient-centered, compassionate culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute a multi-year expansion plan, scaling to 5–10+ clinics.
Evaluate new markets, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
Build scalable processes, systems, and technology for rapid expansion.
Oversee daily clinic operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and compliance.
Develop performance dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and cost optimization.
Support marketing, branding, and patient acquisition strategies.
Ensure full regulatory compliance and risk management.
Partner across clinical, administrative, and operational teams to align execution.
Recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.
Requirements
10+ years in healthcare or behavioral health leadership.
Proven success scaling multi-site operations or healthcare startups.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of healthcare KPIs.
Expertise in payer contracting, compliance, and process optimization.
Demonstrated ability to manage growth while maintaining quality.
Preferred
Experience in behavioral health, SPRAVATO® programs, or integrative psychiatry.
Background launching new clinics, including licensing, buildout, and staffing.
