The Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) Sales and Market Development Manager North America will expand business development and forward marketing in Extrusion segment, as well as manage a portfolio of direct customer accounts.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Create and drive a strategic marketing plan (incl. segmentation, go-to-market plans, value proposition development, competitive analysis, product portfolio) for major Extrusion segments
- Generate attractive business opportunities in Extrusion segments, e.g., Film & Sheet, by cultivating relationships down the value chain and translating customer insights into sales
- Manage customer accounts in assigned areas
- Contribute to long-term competitiveness of TPU North America by developing new business opportunities and strategic marketing plans, especially for Extrusion segment(s)
- Strengthen the Covestro TPU brand in North America
- Align regional market growth with ambition of the global TPU business
WHAT YOU OFFER
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in scientific field, business administration, marketing or a closely related field and at least 4 years of experience in a marketing and / or sales-related function;
OR Master's degree in scientific field, business administration or a closely related field and at least 2 years of experience in a marketing and / or sales-related function
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in film and sheet development
- Strong network in industry preferred
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to think strategically
- Ability to build and maintain relationships / partnerships
- Ability to influence and lead others indirectly
- Fluent in marketing tools and strategy development
