This position is aligned to Integrated External Networks (IEN) Veteran and Family Member Programs (VFMP) Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMPVA), under the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Integrated Veteran Care (IVC). The incumbent is organizationally aligned under the CHAMPVA Program Manager. The position will be duty located at the Denver Federal Center located in Lakewood, Colorado.

Responsibilities include :

• Serving as the primary technical and operation consultant for the development and implementation of Eligibility Enrollment Verification (EEV) and Document Control & Data Management (DCDM) operations related to new programs and / or initiatives that have a direct impact on eligibility and data management.
• Responsible for planning, coordinating, tracking and communicating project objectives with a directorate and to various stakeholders that are both external and internal to the VA.
• Performing special studies, analyses, investigations and / or audits and making recommendations leading to increased efficiency and problem resolution having wide and significant impact throughout the Directorate, Purchased Care organization, VHA organization and the veteran population.
• Maintaining sponsor and beneficiary file record in accordance with established guidelines.
• Providing personnel management for a department and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Work Schedule : Full-Time, Monday through Friday, between 6 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm. Telework : This position may be authorized for telework. Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process. Virtual : This is not a virtual position. You will be required to report to an office.

Receiving Service Credit or Earning Annual (Vacation) Leave : Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee. Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior work experience or military service experience. This credited service can be used in determining the rate at which they earn annual leave. Such credit must be requested and approved prior to the appointment date and is not guaranteed.
