You will be providing support to our clients and our legal teams as they navigate through difficult times. This remote, full-time role is your opportunity to shine as the embodiment of our mission to deliver exemplary legal representation coupled with genuine care.Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include : Onboarding New ClientsInput matter information into ClickUp.Create client folders in Google Drive.Schedule and calendar strategy sessions.Review new client information forms and take appropriate action.Review strategy session notes and send clients introduction emails, including a recap of homework assigned during the sessions.Enter all existing deadlines and court dates into the case calendar.Obtain JIS and WATCH reports for all new clients and opposing parties. Scheduling, Calendaring, and Task ManagementSchedule and calendar mediations and depositions.Arrange pre-deposition / mediation meetings with attorneys and clients.Check court systems weekly for pending hearings and ensure they are added to the case calendar.Review the upcoming week's calendar for court events and deadlines, creating tasks for each event.Coordinate interpreters, obtain court transcripts and arrange for court reporters as needed.Schedule and calendar collaborative law meetings (e.g., PTO, 5-Way, 4-Way).Organize and calendar all meetings involving staff, clients, and related parties.Lead weekly case management meetings with your legal team, take notes on action items, and create ClickUp tasks for the appropriate team members. Client CommunicationsServe as the first point of contact for client matters, delegating to paralegals or attorneys only when necessary.Send requests for documents and forms to clients.Follow up with clients to ensure receipt of needed documents / forms.Provide clients with meeting links for virtual hearings, meetings, and mediations.Send instructions to clients on meeting attorneys at court.Assist clients with attending parenting seminars and obtaining certificates of completion. Document ManagementMaintain the "Doc Check" section for each matter in ClickUp.Download and save pleadings to client files.Save all client documents, forms, and pleadings to their respective files.Prepare Manpower forms.Organize PDFs as needed.Stamp and redact documents as necessary.Send documents to parties for e-signatures.Draft basic pleadings, including notices of appearance, notices of unavailability, notices of intent to withdraw, and declarations of service.File court documents and serve working copies as required. Further, while skills and experience are required, appreciated, and valued, personality, character, intelligence, and integrity will be paramount considerations.Proficient in Google Doc, Sheet, Google Calendar, Chat, and Gmail.Familiar, if not proficient, with MyPleadings, ClickUp and Microsoft 365.Experience with Macs is preferred but not essential.Ability to remote in, and coordinate with other remote staff.Three (3) professional references will be required.
