Description

Responsibilities :

This Business Office Manager Specialist is a travel role and will cover Indiana and Illinois senior living communities

• Provides training, guidance, and coordination of the business office tasks including, but not limited to, accounts receivable and payable functions
• Performs review of resident financial file to determine payer status
• Monitors and reports changes to the financial file including but not limited to updated payer status and changes to income / asset / medical expenses
• Collects accounts receivable documents and posts payments
• Complete monthly AR call report notes and next step actions, ensuring all follow-up tasks are completed timely and efficiently
• Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation, payments, adjustments, and other transactions on the resident ledger
• Assists residents in obtaining and maintaining financial assistance through the Medicaid and QMB programs
• Maintains both physical and electronic resident files, accurately reporting activity of move ins, move outs, and bed holds within the accounting system and monthly reports
• Collect accounts payable invoices and ensure timely processing for payment, adhering to the collection policies
