Assistant Controller
Job Description :
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our finance team. The Assistant Controller will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, as well as assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analyses.

Responsibilities :
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Help develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, including preparation of financial models and variance analysis.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support decision-making.
Assist with audit preparations and interface with external auditors as necessary.
Stay current with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification or working towards CPA eligibility preferred.
5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably with exposure to financial reporting and analysis.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Prior experience in public accounting or a corporate finance environment is a plus.
