General Summary :
Researchesand assists in the optimization of Treasury department processes and datamanagement practices.
Principal Duties andResponsibilities :
- Researches and assists in the optimization of Treasury department processes by participating in the design and testing of transaction processing systems.
- Researches and assists in the optimization of Treasury department data management practices by gathering and refining metadata, updating the data dictionary, and performing data quality assessments.
- Aides in the development of management dashboards and fixed income investment presentations.
- Assists with dealer interactions to obtain fixed income market information.
- Participates in special projects such as the investigation of security liquidation timelines and data and other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills andAbilities Required :
- Knowledge of fixed income investment concepts at a level normally acquired through the completion of three years of collegiate level finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or quantitative analysis coursework.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal skills necessary to interact with internal contacts.
- Analytical skills necessary to develop management reports and present findings to department staff.
- Proficiency in use of personal computer, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software is required.
Working Conditions :
