Statement of Purpose :
Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CAN Community Health, this position is responsible for the coordination of activities and information flowing to and from the CEO's office. Specifically, the Executive Assistant to the CEO will be responsible for managing multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, screening and prioritizing communication from external and internal sources, organizing and maintaining administrative operations for the CEO, and serving as the liaison representing the CEO to individuals of the public and CAN.

Essential Functions :
Organize and manage complex calendars, prioritize meetings and appointments, manage schedule conflicts, and coordinate meeting logistics.Act as a gatekeeper for the CEO's time and attention, filtering and prioritizing communications, drafting correspondence, and managing email and phone calls.Organize agendas, gather necessary documents and information, take minutes, and track follow-up actions for meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including board meetings.Coordinate travel arrangements (flights, accommodations, car rentals), prepare detailed itineraries, and manage expense reports.Assist with managing and tracking the progress of various initiatives and projects, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are effectively allocated.Maintain effective systems for organizing and managing physical and digital documents, records, and reports.Serve as a strategic partner, anticipate needs, identify potential issues, research information, and offer insights to support executive decision-making.Maintain and establish effective working relationships and act as a liaison with CAN's executive leadership, senior management teams, board members, employees, clients, and other stakeholders, representing the executive professionally.Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity.Competencies :

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely involves using standard office equipment such as computers, audio visual, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Requirements :
Neat, professional appearance.Sedentary- Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly in lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Involving sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.Requires expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word, visual and auditory acuity.Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :
This position requires hours of work outside normal operating hours.
Travel :
Travel is primarily during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver's license.
Requirements
Education / Professional :
Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field preferred.5+ years of related experience in an executive assistant role, ideally supporting C-Level executives and within the healthcare industry.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
