Bilingual Program Supervisor
Contract-6 months
100% in the office, 8 : 30-5 : 00
Up to $30 DOE
Duties / Responsibilities
- Ensure offices are running smoothly as it pertains to temporary hires.
- Maintain open and effective communication with management.
- Maintain close communication with Program Director in order to ensure provision of quality services.
- Train new temporary hires on compliance documentation, filing and data entry requirements.
- Support and conduct the intake and orientation process to eligible clients.
- Ensure proper timekeeping for all temporary hires.
- Enter client data and payout information into state database (CT).
- Determine eligibility based on income and other variables.
- Counsel clients regarding program requirements.
- Prepare materials needed to monitor compliance of clients.
- Be familiar with compliance guidelines.
- Prepare Applications
- Ensure accuracy of information of all data systems
- Participate in the acceptance process and provide clients with appointments in a timely manner
- Disburse checks to clients per program guidelines
- Data entry of financial information into all data systems.
- Responsible for requesting a transfer from other states in a timely manner, when applicable
- Reports suspicious and inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
- Follows mandated abuse and incident reporting requirements.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills.
- Highly developed computer skills;
- Ability to effectively manage time and resources;
- Team player, self-motivated, responsive and excellent trouble-shooter;
- Previous clerical / office experience helpful;
- Preference will be given to applicants with relevant refugee languages
