We are seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team full-time. In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive dental care and patient education, ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout each visit. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including medical history review and oral examinations.
Perform dental hygiene procedures such as scaling, root planing, and prophylaxis.
Apply preventive treatments including sealants and fluoride applications.
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices and the importance of routine dental care.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using Dentrix dental software.
Assist with infection control protocols to uphold a safe, sanitary clinical environment.
Support dentists during procedures by providing four-handed dentistry assistance.
Utilize dental imaging techniques (panoramic, cephalometric, bitewing, periapical, occlusal x-rays, CBCT) to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Deliver exceptional care tailored to pediatric patients, ensuring a positive experience for children.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations and patient flow.

Licensed dental hygienist

X-ray / Radiography Certification
Valid state license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Georgia.
Strong knowledge of dental and medical terminology.
Experience in patient assessment and dental care patient counseling.
Proficiency in dental cleaning techniques including scaling and root planing.
Familiarity with dental imaging modalities including panoramic imaging, CBCT, and various x-ray techniques.
Skilled in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient comfort and education.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to infection control and maintaining a safe clinical environment.
Previous experience with pediatric dental care is highly desirable.
