Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Join our Maintenance Team at a state-of-the-art facility! We're seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Mechanic II, specializing in paper mill equipment maintenance.
This role involves both preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, along with repairs and upgrades. A diverse skill set in maintenance, particularly electrical work, is highly desirable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Maintenance Mastery : Perform a variety of tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and repairing machinery components such as bearings, gears, and shafts.
- Technical Skills : Utilize maintenance tools (lathe, grinder, drill, milling machines) for repairing and fabricating machine parts.
- Piping and Hydraulics : Assemble, install, and maintain mill piping and pneumatic / hydraulic equipment.
- Welding and Rigging : Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, operating welding equipment, and rigging rolls and equipment.
- Precision and Electrical Knowledge : Conduct precision alignments and basic electrical tasks (e.g., working with 480-volt power systems, troubleshooting electrical issues).
Requirements :
- Experience : 3-5 years of multi-craft experience, preferably in paper mill maintenance.
- Welding experience
- Language Skills : Fluent in English, with effective comprehension and communication skills.
Location : East Hartford, CT
Work Hours : Mon-Fri, 7 AM - 3 : 30 PM On-Call Requirement : Every 3rd week (weekday and weekend - 24 / 7)
