A $2B AUM private equity fund in NYC is building out its back office. They are looking to bring in an Assistant Controller as the first hire in the accounting department.
The Assistant Controller will be fast-tracked to Controller and will oversee all of accounting and finance, reporting directly into the CFO.
This person will get exposure to all management company accounting, fund accounting, tax, fundraising, and finance (strategic and corporate).
A true see all-do all role. Most of the work is outsourced to a Big 4 firm and a Fund Administrator. This person will get to build out a team underneath them and really shape the back office.
Reports To : CFO
In-Office Policy : 4x a Week in NYC
Compensation : Up to $200K Base Salary + Bonus
Requirements
- 4-8 Years of PE Fund Accounting Experience
- Public Accounting Experience is a Big Plus
