Housing Coordinator

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Housing and Travel Coordinator


Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 8 months
Location: Plano, TX

As a Housing and Travel Coordinator, you will:

• Maintain an accurate, up-to-date list of available housing options in each project area and through GC-provided resources and independently acquired options.
• Maintain organized records of housing assignments, travel bookings, and per diem tracking.
• Source, evaluate, and coordinate housing accommodations including apartments, houses, extended-stay lodging, RV sites, and work camps.
• Partner with project managers, field leadership, and GCs to align housing plans with project schedules and workforce needs.
• Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, extensions, and housing changes as crews mobilize or demobilize.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for housing-related issues for field teams.
• Ensure housing solutions meet company standards, budget guidelines, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate all travel needs for low-voltage construction teams, including flights, rental vehicles, and ground transportation.
• Communicate itineraries, lodging details, and changes clearly to field personnel and corporate stakeholders.
• Adjust travel plans to accommodate project delays, schedule changes, or emergency needs
• Track, verify, and document per diem eligibility and daily rates for field employees.
• Ensure per diem records align with company policy, project requirements, and payroll standards.
• Coordinate with payroll, accounting, and project management teams to resolve discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in housing coordination, corporate travel, workforce logistics, construction administration, or employee support functions.
• Ability to work effectively with both corporate teams and field personnel
• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel – Basic Proficiency), tracking tools, and basic project management systems

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Travel booking and per diem administration for field teams.
• Working with large field teams, 200+
• Familiarity with project-based or low-voltage construction environments
• Experience with systems such as Happay, Concur, and/or ServiceNow

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $28 - $32 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
