Web Developer (WordPress & PHP)
Location: Scottsdale, AZ | Full-Time, Direct Hire | On-Site
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM
Work Authorization: US Citizens or Green Card Holders Only

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced WordPress & PHP Developer to build and manage websites and help establish our web development function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.

• Build custom functionality using PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.

• Manage API integrations, custom post types, and website functionality.

• Handle VPS hosting, domains, SSL, backups, security, and performance.

• Optimize websites for SEO, speed, and Core Web Vitals.

• Troubleshoot website, server, and database issues.

• Communicate with clients, gather requirements, and conduct website demos.

• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with marketing and design teams.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional PHP and WordPress development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with custom themes and plugins.

• Proficiency in PHP, WordPress, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.

• Experience with REST API integrations and VPS/server management.

• Knowledge of website security, SEO, and performance optimization.

• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and project management skills.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Preferred: 5+ years of experience, AWS/cloud hosting knowledge, and experience building a web development function from scratch.
