Filing Clerk - Easter Seals Greater Houston

Easter Seals of Greater Houston, a leading provider of service to people of all ages, with any type of disability, is currently seeking an experienced Filing Clerk to join the Billing Department. The role will be primarily responsible for filing, maintenance of all billing charts and some lifting.

Job Type : Full-Time; Non-exempt

Key Responsibilities :

• In office every day
• Maintenance of all billing charts
• Creating newly enrolled billing charts
• Pulling closed billing charts.
• All Filling for the billing charts including all claims and billing paperwork.
• Annually purge old records and box up for storage.
• Other overflow of billing assignments from Team Manager or Team Leads.
• Secures and protects the privacy of documents.
• Checks and corrects documentation and placement of previously filed documents.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with computers, software and databases
• Great time management, prioritization and multitasking abilities
• Very keen attention to detail
• Discipline and focus
• All other duties as assigned by Team Manager
