Job Summary : The Assistant Director of Patient Observation / Safety & Transportation reports to our director at an 800+ bed hospital account in Indianapolis and assists with all operational needs of the Patient Transportation & Patient Observation / Safety Departments.

Coordinates the tasks of the subordinate Supervisory and Management team. In the absence of the Director, acts as the administrative liaison between key client contacts and the department.

This role will work a daytime, Monday-Friday schedule and rotate as on-call MOD once every 3 weekends. The Assistant Director will have 2 peer ADs and will lead a team of 2 coordinators, a supervisor, a dispatcher, and approximately 50 associates.

• Key Responsibilities : Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for all staff in accordance with established policies and practices of the accountDirects and conducts safety, quality, and training programs;
• while maintaining excellent relationships with client and the customerAssists to ensure client, customer satisfaction and efficient cost effective managementPromotes the professional growth and development of all associatesCoordinates the tasks of the subordinate Supervisory and Management team via regular communicationPerforms other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree required;
