The Training Lead is responsible for training department team members and supporting Operational Lead(s) to meet SLAs, resolve support desk tickets, and assist with month-end closing activities, with a strong focus on Floorplan. The Training Lead schedules, develops, and delivers team member training sessions; reviews and updates process / procedure documentation; responds to team member process questions; and identifies knowledge and skill gaps through discussions with Operational Leads, Supervisors, and the Department Manager.
Job Responsibilities
Identify and assess departmental training and development needs through associate observation and consultation with leadership
Develop and maintain the department’s annual training plan
Design, develop, and deliver individualized and group training for current and new hire associates, including training materials and course content
Review error reports and support desk tickets to identify training opportunities
Review and update operational procedures and process documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
Update department SOPs and notify the E-Learning Specialist as needed
Maintain training records for each associate, including session attendance and performance feedback via report cards to supervisors and manager
Meet monthly with supervisors and manager to review training needs
Attend required training sessions and meetings
Demonstrate a positive customer service approach in all interactions with associates and other customers
Assist Operational Lead(s) during blackout periods or month-end activities (when no training sessions are scheduled)
Identify and recommend process improvements that improve accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience at BOS or prior training experience
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly
Strong follow-up, time management, and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
