Primary Purpose The Graduate Alumni Recruiter will work with the JD Admissions Office to recruit a dynamic class of law students.
During the fall semester, the Graduate Alumni Recruiter will effectively and enthusiastically convey information to prospective applicants at in-person, off-campus events and limited virtual events.
They may provide in-person campus tours. They will be knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions that relate to the Law School’s academic programs, admission requirements, student life, and career services.
In addition, they will be responsible for visiting and presenting to a variety of college-level classes and student organizations;
as well as, sending follow up written correspondence with those that they speak with. Essential Functions
- Support the JD Admissions Office by assisting with mailings, editing communications (from law school departments and from external partners), all aspects of social media (including but not limited to content production, sharing on personal accounts and helping with administrative accounts), completing research projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Work independently and effectively to manage one’s time.
- Communicate the distinctive strengths and benefits of a McGeorge legal education effectively and enthusiastically to multiple audiences prospective students of different backgrounds, prelaw advisers, faculty members at undergraduate colleges and law fairs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Juris Doctorate (JD) Degree.
- Experience working with various departments at the law school, student organization leadership and membership.

Work Environment / Work Week / Travel :
