Job Description :

Large Government Agency is currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations within the US Capitol building.

Responsibilities :

1. Financial Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using basic accounting principles.

3. Invoice Processing : Assist in processing invoices and expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

4. Reconciliation : Conduct periodic reconciliations of financial data to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.

5. Assist in Financial Reporting : Generate and prepare basic financial reports as needed by the accounting team.

6. Communication : Collaborate with team members to gather necessary financial information and address any discrepancies.

Requirements :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Experience : New graduates with relevant accounting internships are encouraged to apply.
• Skills : Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in data entry.
• Communication : Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
