Sr. Project Manager - Electrical Power

Position Summary

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the installation and startup of a large volume of Caterpillar generator packages. This role will work closely with skilled MMC field technicians, project management peers, third-party packagers, site contractors, and our customers by leading onsite resources, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring the seamless application of the Caterpillar and ancillary equipment.

Position Duties / Responsibilities

• Plans, manages and coordinates all aspects of new projects from initial receipt of the purchase order through completion, including, coordinating product delivery to customer acceptance, and ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Quality Assurance : Confirm that all delivered equipment meets site requirements and responds proactively to requests for additional information or changes.
• Logistics Coordination : Oversee the delivery, offloading, and installation of equipment, supporting technicians and contractors to guarantee correct installation and adherence to customer timelines.
• Financial Management : Manages and monitors the project expenses and schedules to maximize profitability while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Technical Expertise : Be the focal point to provide answers to technical questions and application questions about Caterpillar and other related products, supporting engineering teams, contractors, and sales teams.
• Collaboration : Work with vendors to resolve technical inquiries and build strong relationships with suppliers to enhance project outcomes.
• Adaptability : Perform additional related duties as needed to support team success.
