Overview

Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days onsite (Mondays and Tuesdays) at the location listed above. Subject to change per manager. Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.

Responsibilities

• QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically, determine priorities for test scenarios, and create execution plans to implement these scenarios. Design documentation for automated processes.
• Perform software quality assurance, testing, and support for TIERS, YourTexasBenefits.com, YourTexasBenefits Mobile App, State Portal, Workflow Management, Eligibility Web Services, Enterprise Document Services, Enterprise Content Management, Document Center, Call Center Inquiry, and other Social Services applications.
• Develop, enhance, maintain, and execute existing and new test plans and scenarios for QA of web-based J2EE / Portal applications within HHSC SOA platform using Agile methodologies.
• Participate in requirements analysis, test design, test data preparation, and testing of various components; work with other teams as necessary to accomplish goals.
• Create technical and design documentation as required and provide technical support for testing and implementation efforts.
• Participate in program design, coding and test walk-through meetings to provide input regarding technical standards and customer requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
