Asan accounts payable clerk youwill :

• Completepayments and control expenses by receiving processing verifying andreconcilinginvoices.
• Reconcileprocessed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports tobalances.
• Ensureoutstanding balances are updated with credit memos that aredue.
• Pay employees byreceiving and verifying expense reports using companyspecificaccountingsoftware.
• Verifyvendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and relatedtransactions.
• Maintainhistorical records of all invoices reports receipts and checks bysaving documents properly on thenetwork.
• Performmonthly close duties with financial team. andnbsp;
• Assist otherdepartments with equipment or product purchases; track assets andaccounts foracquisition.
• Confirmsubcontractorbilled working hours bonuses andprojects.
• Investigatepayment issues to a satisfactoryresolution.
• Ensurecredit is received for outstandingmemos.
• Protect thecompanys value by keeping informationconfidential.
• Constantlyupdate jobknowledge.
• Adhere toRoofMasters policies andprocedures.
• Performother related duties asassigned.

Thecandidate shouldpossess :

• ValidTexas drivers license andnbsp;
• BilingualEnglish or Spanish ispreferred.
• High degreeof accuracy and attention todetail.
• Good timemanagement skills and conflict resolutiontechniques.
• Solidunderstanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payableprinciples.
• Provenability to calculate post and manage accounting figures andfinancialrecords.
• Knowledge ofaccounting principles and accounts payableprocesses.
• A highschool diploma GED or equivalent isrequired.
• A bachelorsdegree in accounting finance or a related field is aplus.
• One year ofaccounting experience at the clericallevel.
• Proven workingexperience as an Accounts PayableClerk.
