Pay : $35 - $60 per hourJob Summary : T9 Enterprises Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities : -Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and trucks.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.-Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty parts, components, and systems.-Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on each piece of equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment and in the shop.-Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding equipment issues and repair timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.Qualifications : -Previous experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.-Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of various heavy equipment brands and models.-Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and technical drawings.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.-Certification from a technical school or equivalent training program is preferred.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.-Communicate with parts, materials, and fuel suppliers to ensure everything is readily available for equipment.
- Communicate with equipment operators to understand their needs and provide solutions based on their issues.-Communicate with office personnel to ensure that receipts are tracked and all mechanic operations are properly documented for record-keeping purposes.
