The primary purpose of the role is to expand and enhance the company's top line through diligent relationship building and maintenance with prospective clients across an area; to identify and address prospective and existing client opportunities for marketing the company's programs; and to ensure sales goals, objectives, and profit margins are met.

Essential responsibilities may include :

  • Identify, develop, and maintain internal and external relationships / partnerships.
  • Build relationships with prospects.
  • Facilitate the development of new partnerships and the company; facilitate and remain involved in the implementation process ensuring a smooth transition of new client programs.
  • Develop the detailed knowledge of individual prospect operations targeting specific needs which may be opportunities for marketing company programs.
  • Ensure the identification of expertise required addressing individual prospect requirements; identifies resources for prospect solicitation and service teams.
  • Utilizes the appropriate national resources to facilitate responses and pricing for RFPs, proposals, and presentations.
  • Manages the design of service programs ensuring client need fulfillment.
  • Develops and implements an annual sales and service plan including identification of potential client prospects, their needs, and the methodology of presenting company's ability to fulfill those needs.

Additional functions and responsibilities include :

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Travels as required.
  • Qualifications :

  • Education & Licensing : Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Bachelor's degree with major in Business Administration, Finance or Risk Management preferred. Licenses as required. Possession of, or progress towards, CPCU and / or ARM designation required.
  • Experience : Ten (10) years of relationship building in the claims management or risk management area or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Skills : Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills, excellent interpersonal skills, PC literate, including Microsoft Office products, strong organizational skills, excellent negotiation skills.

    As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is ($150,000 USD - $175,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility). A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
