EHS Analyst
Job description : EHS AnalystSpringfield, MOBase Pay, bonus, Benefits, Relocation AvailableImmediate job opening for a EHS Analyst for a multi-billion dollar 100+ year old global diversified manufacturer of specialty products.
In this role youll create and maintain EH&S policies and procedures while promoting a culture that adheres to EHS principles.
The role has responsibility for one site, 650,000 square feet, and 450+ employeesFortune Magazine One of Americas Most Innovative CompaniesWorld renowned for broad spectrum of products & servicesFast-paced environment, structured, ability to have an impact on the business Qualifications : Desired Qualifications : Bachelors Degree in in Safety Science, Industrial Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Chemicals or equivalent fieldBroad knowledge of safety and environmental laws and practices within a plant environmentExperience / knowledge with HAZMAT is desired, environmental chemicals maintenance / waste policies and proceduresDemonstrated experience in Safety and / or Environmental Management (2+ years)Computer skills in Microsoft Windows environmentResponsibilities : Establish and execute strategic plans for the development and operation of the EHS functions across the businessDrive business planning process to ensure the effective engagement of resources to minimize direct and indirect costs to the business while maintaining compliance to applicable Federal, State and local rules and regulations, including OSHA and EPA Standards.
Facilitate all matters related to environmental compliance and capabilities.Provide leadership to establish, communicate and drive organizational direction relating to EHS compliance and training, and talent management and training for direct / indirect reports.
Help to coach and train all plant staff as needed to build and cascade an effective, efficient, and successful EHS organization.
Manage contingent and contractor resources and outside vendor relationships.Partner with plant leaders of all functions to ensure training, understanding and on-going compliance and education for all associates on all matters pertaining to EHS.
