Accounting Clerk

Insight Global is seeking an Accounting Clerk for a direct hire opportunity in the Cincinnati area. This resource will be joining a logistics and trucking company who handle local and regional clients. You'll be responsible for processing invoices, bills and payments within accounts payable and accounts receivable. You'll monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts while maintaining and communicating with customers and vendors. You'll collaborate with the local team (8-10) people as well as the CFO to perform weekly and monthly accounting analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience in accounting field

Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable

Some account reconciliation experience

Knowledge of debits and credits

Attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Logistics or trucking experience

McLeod software experience - TMS
