Endocrinologist (FT)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled BC / BE Endocrinologist to join our well-established and growing practice with all aspects of Endocrinology.

Participation in teaching is essential We currently have one Endocrinologist as well as a Nurse Practitioner, Diabetes Educator and 2 Nurses (all with extensive experience) who provide full-scope of endocrine care.

We are a teaching hospital with Family Practice Residents, medical students from Des Moines University, Des Moines and University of Iowa College of Medicine, Iowa City.

Adjunct Faculty appointment is available with the same institutions. Clinical research is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Average of 12-16 outpatients per day;
• Infrequent Inpatient consultation;

Ability to lead the team and work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve, including refugee, public, and private insurance.

Evaluate, interpret and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
